  26. [PATCH] common/cmd_elf.c: Enable loadaddr as parameter in bootvx command
  27. In the bootvx command the load address was only read from the env

  29. in the help. This is fixed with this patch. The behaviour is now the
  30. same as in the bootelf command.

  235. mpc83xx: Fix the incorrect dcbz operation
  236. The 834x rev1.x silicon has one CPU5 errata.
  237. The issue is when the data cache locked with
  238. HID0[DLOCK], the dcbz instruction looks like no-op inst.
  239. The right behavior of the data cache is when the data cache
  240. Locked with HID0[DLOCK], the dcbz instruction allocates
  241. new tags in cache.
  242. The 834x rev3.0 and later and 8360 have not this bug inside.
  243. So, when 834x rev3.0/8360 are working with ECC, the dcbz
  244. instruction will corrupt the stack in cache, the processor will
  245. checkstop reset.
  246. However, the 834x rev1.x can work with ECC with these code,
  247. because the sillicon has this cache bug. The dcbz will not
  248. corrupt the stack in cache.
  249. Really, it is the fault code running on fault sillicon.
  250. This patch fix the incorrect dcbz operation. Instead of
  251. CPU FP writing to initialise the ECC.
  252. CHANGELOG:
  253. * Fix the incorrect dcbz operation instead of CPU FP
  254. writing to initialise the ECC memory. Otherwise, it
  255. will corrupt the stack in cache, The processor will checkstop

  351. Multi-bus I2C implementation of MPC834x
  352. Hello,
  353. Attached is a patch implementing multiple I2C buses on the MPC834x CPU
  354. family and the MPC8349EMDS board in particular.
  355. This patch requires Patch 1 (Add support for multiple I2C buses).
  356. Testing was performed on a 533MHz board.

  368. Add support for multiple I2C buses
  369. Hello,
  370. Attached is a patch providing support for multiple I2C buses at the
  371. command level. The second part of the patch includes an implementation
  372. for the MPC834x CPU and MPC8349EMDS board.

  375. Overview:
  376. 1. Include new 'i2c' command (based on USB implementation) using
  377. CONFIG_I2C_CMD_TREE.
  378. 2. Allow multiple buses by defining CONFIG_I2C_MULTI_BUS. Note that
  379. the commands to change bus number and speed are only available under the
  380. new 'i2c' command mentioned in the first bullet.
  381. 3. The option CFG_I2C_NOPROBES has been expanded to work in multi-bus
  382. systems. When CONFIG_I2C_MULTI_BUS is used, this option takes the form
  383. of an array of bus-device pairs. Otherwise, it is an array of uchar.
  384. CHANGELOG:
  385. Added new 'i2c' master command for all I2C interaction. This is
  386. conditionally compiled with CONFIG_I2C_CMD_TREE. New commands added for
  387. setting I2C bus speed as well as changing the active bus if the board
  388. has more than one (conditionally compiled with
  389. CONFIG_I2C_MULTI_BUS). Updated NOPROBE logic to handle multiple buses.
  390. Updated README.

  544. Don't pass any debug options directly to the assembler
  545. When passing the -g option to gcc, gcc automatically selects a

  591. Added support for Multi-Image files that contain a device tree
  592. If a Multi-Image file contains a third image we try to use it as a

  595. and provide an 8k pad to allow more than a reasonable amount of growth.
  596. Additionally, a device tree that was contained in flash will now automatically

  641. Add common serial driver for Atmel AT32 and AT91 chips
  642. Patch by Haavard Skinnemoen, 06 Sep 2006
  643. This is a first attempt at creating a common serial driver for Atmel
  644. chips. For now, it supports the AT32AP7000 AVR32 chip, but it should
  645. be possible to support AT91RM9200 and other ARM-based chips with some
  646. minor modifications.
  647. There's nothing fundamentally AVR32-specific in this driver, but it
  648. does use some features which are currently only defined for the
  649. AT32AP CPU port:
  650. * pm_get_clock_freq: Obtain the clock frequency of a given domain
  651. * gd->console_uart: A "struct device" containing information about
  652. register mappings, gpio resources and clocks associated with the
  653. UART device.
  654. For more information about these features, please see the "AT32AP
  655. CPU" patch.

  659. Add AT32AP CPU and AT32AP7000 SoC support
  660. Patch by Haavard Skinnemoen, 06 Sep 2006
  661. This patch adds support for the AT32AP CPU family and the AT32AP7000
  662. chip, which is the first chip implementing the AVR32 architecture.
  663. The AT32AP CPU core is a high-performance implementation featuring a
  664. 7-stage pipeline, separate instruction- and data caches, and a MMU.
  665. For more information, please see the "AVR32 AP Technical Reference":
  666. http://www.atmel.com/dyn/resources/prod_documents/doc32001.pdf
  667. In addition to this, the AT32AP7000 chip comes with a large set of
  668. integrated peripherals, many of which are shared with the AT91 series
  669. of ARM-based microcontrollers from Atmel. Full data sheet is

  685. Patch by Haavard Skinnemoen, 30 Aug 2006
  686. In config.mk, -Wa,-gstabs is unconditionally appended to AFLAGS no
  687. matter what the target's preferred debugging format is. This patch
  688. simply replaces -gstabs with -g, so that the default debugging format

1096. Add support for reading and writing mac addresses to or from ID EEPROM.
1097. Added code for reading and writing Mac addresses to/from ID EEPROM(0x57).
1098. With attached patch, we can use command "mac/mac read/mac save/"
1099. to read and write EEPROM under u-boot prompt.
1100. U-boot will calculate the checksum of EEPROM while bootup,
1101. if it is right, then u-boot will check whether the mac address
  1102. of eTSEC0/1/2/3 is availalbe (non-zero).
1103. If there is mac address availabe in EEPROM, u-boot will use it,
1104. otherewise, u-boot will use the mac address defined in
1105. MPC8641HPCN.h. This matches the requirement to set unique mac address
  1106. for each TSEC port.
