  27. Add ATSTK1000 and ATSTK1002 board support
  28. Patch by Haavard Skinnemoen, 06 Sep 2006
  29. This patch adds support for the ATSTK1000 with the ATSTK1002 CPU
  30. daughterboard.
  31. ATSTK1000 is a full-featured development board for AT32AP CPUs. It
  32. has two ethernet ports, a high quality QVGA LCD panel, a loudspeaker,
  33. and connectors for USART, PS/2, VGA, USB, MMC/SD cards and
  34. CompactFlash cards. For more information, please see this page:
  35. http://www.atmel.com/dyn/products/tools.asp?family_id=682
  36. The ATSTK1002 is a daughterboard for the ATSTK1000 supporting the
  37. AT32AP7000 chip.

  42. Add common serial driver for Atmel AT32 and AT91 chips
  43. Patch by Haavard Skinnemoen, 06 Sep 2006
  44. This is a first attempt at creating a common serial driver for Atmel
  45. chips. For now, it supports the AT32AP7000 AVR32 chip, but it should
  46. be possible to support AT91RM9200 and other ARM-based chips with some
  47. minor modifications.
  48. There's nothing fundamentally AVR32-specific in this driver, but it
  49. does use some features which are currently only defined for the
  50. AT32AP CPU port:
  51. * pm_get_clock_freq: Obtain the clock frequency of a given domain
  52. * gd->console_uart: A "struct device" containing information about
  53. register mappings, gpio resources and clocks associated with the
  54. UART device.
  55. For more information about these features, please see the "AT32AP
  56. CPU" patch.

  60. Add AT32AP CPU and AT32AP7000 SoC support
  61. Patch by Haavard Skinnemoen, 06 Sep 2006
  62. This patch adds support for the AT32AP CPU family and the AT32AP7000
  63. chip, which is the first chip implementing the AVR32 architecture.
  64. The AT32AP CPU core is a high-performance implementation featuring a
  65. 7-stage pipeline, separate instruction- and data caches, and a MMU.
  66. For more information, please see the "AVR32 AP Technical Reference":
  67. http://www.atmel.com/dyn/resources/prod_documents/doc32001.pdf
  68. In addition to this, the AT32AP7000 chip comes with a large set of
  69. integrated peripherals, many of which are shared with the AT91 series
  70. of ARM-based microcontrollers from Atmel. Full data sheet is
  71. available here:

  78. Patch by Haavard Skinnemoen, 6 Sep 2006 16:23:02 +0200

  80. architecture. See doc/README.AVR32 for details.

  85. Use -g instead of -gstabs in AFLAGS_DEBUG
  86. Patch by Haavard Skinnemoen, 30 Aug 2006
  87. In config.mk, -Wa,-gstabs is unconditionally appended to AFLAGS no
  88. matter what the target's preferred debugging format is. This patch
  89. simply replaces -gstabs with -g, so that the default debugging format
  90. for the architecture is used.

  460. Date: Wed Jul 12 10:48:05 2006 -0400
  461. Add support for reading and writing mac addresses to or from ID EEPROM.
  462. Added code for reading and writing Mac addresses to/from ID EEPROM(0x57).
  463. With attached patch, we can use command "mac/mac read/mac save/"
  464. to read and write EEPROM under u-boot prompt.
  465. U-boot will calculate the checksum of EEPROM while bootup,
  466. if it is right, then u-boot will check whether the mac address
  467. of eTSEC0/1/2/3 is availalbe (non-zero).
  468. If there is mac address availabe in EEPROM, u-boot will use it,
  469. otherewise, u-boot will use the mac address defined in
  470. MPC8641HPCN.h. This matches the requirement to set unique mac address
  471. for each TSEC port.
