  77. [PATCH] nand: Fix problem with oobsize calculation
  78. Here the description from Brian Brelsford <Brian_Brelsford@dell.com>:
  79. The Hynix part returns a 0x1d in the 4th ID byte. The Samsung part
  80. returns a 0x15. In the code fragment below bits [1:0] determine the
  81. page size, it is ANDed via "(extid & 0x3)" then shifted out. The
  82. next field is also ANDed with 0x3. However this is a one bit field
  83. as defined in the Hynix and Samsung parts in the 4th ID byte that
  84. determins the oobsize, not a two bit field. It works on Samsung as
  85. bits[3:2] are 01. However for the Hynix there is a 11 in these two
  86. bits, so the oob size gets messed up.
  87. I checked the correct linux code and the suggested fix from Brian is
  88. also available in the linux nand mtd driver.

  391. mpc83xx: Fix the incorrect dcbz operation
  392. The 834x rev1.x silicon has one CPU5 errata.
  393. The issue is when the data cache locked with
  394. HID0[DLOCK], the dcbz instruction looks like no-op inst.
  395. The right behavior of the data cache is when the data cache
  396. Locked with HID0[DLOCK], the dcbz instruction allocates
  397. new tags in cache.
  398. The 834x rev3.0 and later and 8360 have not this bug inside.
  399. So, when 834x rev3.0/8360 are working with ECC, the dcbz
  400. instruction will corrupt the stack in cache, the processor will
  401. checkstop reset.
  402. However, the 834x rev1.x can work with ECC with these code,
  403. because the sillicon has this cache bug. The dcbz will not
  404. corrupt the stack in cache.
  405. Really, it is the fault code running on fault sillicon.
  406. This patch fix the incorrect dcbz operation. Instead of
  407. CPU FP writing to initialise the ECC.
  408. CHANGELOG:
  409. * Fix the incorrect dcbz operation instead of CPU FP
  410. writing to initialise the ECC memory. Otherwise, it

  531. Overview:
  532. 1. Include new 'i2c' command (based on USB implementation) using
  533. CONFIG_I2C_CMD_TREE.
  534. 2. Allow multiple buses by defining CONFIG_I2C_MULTI_BUS. Note that
  535. the commands to change bus number and speed are only available under the
  536. new 'i2c' command mentioned in the first bullet.
  537. 3. The option CFG_I2C_NOPROBES has been expanded to work in multi-bus
  538. systems. When CONFIG_I2C_MULTI_BUS is used, this option takes the form
  539. of an array of bus-device pairs. Otherwise, it is an array of uchar.
  540. CHANGELOG:
  541. Added new 'i2c' master command for all I2C interaction. This is
  542. conditionally compiled with CONFIG_I2C_CMD_TREE. New commands added for
  543. setting I2C bus speed as well as changing the active bus if the board
  544. has more than one (conditionally compiled with
  545. CONFIG_I2C_MULTI_BUS). Updated NOPROBE logic to handle multiple buses.
  546. Updated README.

  599. NAND Flash verify across block boundaries
  600. This patch addresses a problem when CONFIG_MTD_NAND_VERIFY_WRITE is
  601. defined
  602. and the write crosses a block boundary. The pointer to the verification
  603. buffer (bufstart) is not being updated to reflect the starting of the
  604. new
  605. block so the verification of the second block fails.

  701. When passing the -g option to gcc, gcc automatically selects a

  748. If a Multi-Image file contains a third image we try to use it as a

  786. ATSTK1000 is a full-featured development board for AT32AP CPUs. It

  788. and connectors for USART, PS/2, VGA, USB, MMC/SD cards and

  797. Add common serial driver for Atmel AT32 and AT91 chips
  798. Patch by Haavard Skinnemoen, 06 Sep 2006
  799. This is a first attempt at creating a common serial driver for Atmel
  800. chips. For now, it supports the AT32AP7000 AVR32 chip, but it should
  801. be possible to support AT91RM9200 and other ARM-based chips with some
  802. minor modifications.
  803. There's nothing fundamentally AVR32-specific in this driver, but it
  804. does use some features which are currently only defined for the
  805. AT32AP CPU port:
  806. * pm_get_clock_freq: Obtain the clock frequency of a given domain
  807. * gd->console_uart: A "struct device" containing information about
  808. register mappings, gpio resources and clocks associated with the
  809. UART device.
  810. For more information about these features, please see the "AT32AP
  811. CPU" patch.

  815. Add AT32AP CPU and AT32AP7000 SoC support
  816. Patch by Haavard Skinnemoen, 06 Sep 2006
  817. This patch adds support for the AT32AP CPU family and the AT32AP7000
  818. chip, which is the first chip implementing the AVR32 architecture.
  819. The AT32AP CPU core is a high-performance implementation featuring a
  820. 7-stage pipeline, separate instruction- and data caches, and a MMU.
  821. For more information, please see the "AVR32 AP Technical Reference":
  822. http://www.atmel.com/dyn/resources/prod_documents/doc32001.pdf
  823. In addition to this, the AT32AP7000 chip comes with a large set of
  824. integrated peripherals, many of which are shared with the AT91 series
  825. of ARM-based microcontrollers from Atmel. Full data sheet is

1252. Add support for reading and writing mac addresses to or from ID EEPROM.
1253. Added code for reading and writing Mac addresses to/from ID EEPROM(0x57).
1254. With attached patch, we can use command "mac/mac read/mac save/"
1255. to read and write EEPROM under u-boot prompt.
1256. U-boot will calculate the checksum of EEPROM while bootup,
1257. if it is right, then u-boot will check whether the mac address
  1258. of eTSEC0/1/2/3 is availalbe (non-zero).
1259. If there is mac address availabe in EEPROM, u-boot will use it,
1260. otherewise, u-boot will use the mac address defined in
1261. MPC8641HPCN.h. This matches the requirement to set unique mac address
  1262. for each TSEC port.
