  35. and the P3M7448 (MPC7448 & MV64460) PMC modules. Both modules are
  36. quite similar and share the same board directory "prodrive/p3mx"
  37. and the same config file "p3mx.h".

  251. mpc83xx: Fix the incorrect dcbz operation
  252. The 834x rev1.x silicon has one CPU5 errata.
  253. The issue is when the data cache locked with
  254. HID0[DLOCK], the dcbz instruction looks like no-op inst.
  255. The right behavior of the data cache is when the data cache
  256. Locked with HID0[DLOCK], the dcbz instruction allocates
  257. new tags in cache.
  258. The 834x rev3.0 and later and 8360 have not this bug inside.
  259. So, when 834x rev3.0/8360 are working with ECC, the dcbz
  260. instruction will corrupt the stack in cache, the processor will
  261. checkstop reset.
  262. However, the 834x rev1.x can work with ECC with these code,
  263. because the sillicon has this cache bug. The dcbz will not
  264. corrupt the stack in cache.
  265. Really, it is the fault code running on fault sillicon.
  266. This patch fix the incorrect dcbz operation. Instead of
  267. CPU FP writing to initialise the ECC.
  268. CHANGELOG:
  269. * Fix the incorrect dcbz operation instead of CPU FP
  270. writing to initialise the ECC memory. Otherwise, it
  271. will corrupt the stack in cache, The processor will checkstop

  384. Add support for multiple I2C buses
  385. Hello,
  386. Attached is a patch providing support for multiple I2C buses at the
  387. command level. The second part of the patch includes an implementation
  388. for the MPC834x CPU and MPC8349EMDS board.

  391. Overview:
  392. 1. Include new 'i2c' command (based on USB implementation) using
  393. CONFIG_I2C_CMD_TREE.
  394. 2. Allow multiple buses by defining CONFIG_I2C_MULTI_BUS. Note that
  395. the commands to change bus number and speed are only available under the
  396. new 'i2c' command mentioned in the first bullet.
  397. 3. The option CFG_I2C_NOPROBES has been expanded to work in multi-bus
  398. systems. When CONFIG_I2C_MULTI_BUS is used, this option takes the form
  399. of an array of bus-device pairs. Otherwise, it is an array of uchar.
  400. CHANGELOG:
  401. Added new 'i2c' master command for all I2C interaction. This is
  402. conditionally compiled with CONFIG_I2C_CMD_TREE. New commands added for
  403. setting I2C bus speed as well as changing the active bus if the board
  404. has more than one (conditionally compiled with
  405. CONFIG_I2C_MULTI_BUS). Updated NOPROBE logic to handle multiple buses.
  406. Updated README.
  407. regards,
  408. Ben

  560. Don't pass any debug options directly to the assembler
  561. When passing the -g option to gcc, gcc automatically selects a

  608. If a Multi-Image file contains a third image we try to use it as a

  642. Add ATSTK1000 and ATSTK1002 board support
  643. Patch by Haavard Skinnemoen, 06 Sep 2006
  644. This patch adds support for the ATSTK1000 with the ATSTK1002 CPU
  645. daughterboard.
  646. ATSTK1000 is a full-featured development board for AT32AP CPUs. It
  647. has two ethernet ports, a high quality QVGA LCD panel, a loudspeaker,
  648. and connectors for USART, PS/2, VGA, USB, MMC/SD cards and
  649. CompactFlash cards. For more information, please see this page:
  650. http://www.atmel.com/dyn/products/tools.asp?family_id=682
  651. The ATSTK1002 is a daughterboard for the ATSTK1000 supporting the
  652. AT32AP7000 chip.

  657. Add common serial driver for Atmel AT32 and AT91 chips
  658. Patch by Haavard Skinnemoen, 06 Sep 2006
  659. This is a first attempt at creating a common serial driver for Atmel
  660. chips. For now, it supports the AT32AP7000 AVR32 chip, but it should
  661. be possible to support AT91RM9200 and other ARM-based chips with some
  662. minor modifications.
  663. There's nothing fundamentally AVR32-specific in this driver, but it
  664. does use some features which are currently only defined for the
  665. AT32AP CPU port:
  666. * pm_get_clock_freq: Obtain the clock frequency of a given domain
  667. * gd->console_uart: A "struct device" containing information about
  668. register mappings, gpio resources and clocks associated with the
  669. UART device.
  670. For more information about these features, please see the "AT32AP
  671. CPU" patch.

  675. Add AT32AP CPU and AT32AP7000 SoC support
  676. Patch by Haavard Skinnemoen, 06 Sep 2006
  677. This patch adds support for the AT32AP CPU family and the AT32AP7000
  678. chip, which is the first chip implementing the AVR32 architecture.
  679. The AT32AP CPU core is a high-performance implementation featuring a
  680. 7-stage pipeline, separate instruction- and data caches, and a MMU.
  681. For more information, please see the "AVR32 AP Technical Reference":
  682. http://www.atmel.com/dyn/resources/prod_documents/doc32001.pdf
  683. In addition to this, the AT32AP7000 chip comes with a large set of
  684. integrated peripherals, many of which are shared with the AT91 series
  685. of ARM-based microcontrollers from Atmel. Full data sheet is

  700. Use -g instead of -gstabs in AFLAGS_DEBUG
  701. Patch by Haavard Skinnemoen, 30 Aug 2006
  702. In config.mk, -Wa,-gstabs is unconditionally appended to AFLAGS no
  703. matter what the target's preferred debugging format is. This patch
  704. simply replaces -gstabs with -g, so that the default debugging format
  705. for the architecture is used.

1112. Add support for reading and writing mac addresses to or from ID EEPROM.
1113. Added code for reading and writing Mac addresses to/from ID EEPROM(0x57).
1114. With attached patch, we can use command "mac/mac read/mac save/"
1115. to read and write EEPROM under u-boot prompt.
1116. U-boot will calculate the checksum of EEPROM while bootup,
1117. if it is right, then u-boot will check whether the mac address
  1118. of eTSEC0/1/2/3 is availalbe (non-zero).
1119. If there is mac address availabe in EEPROM, u-boot will use it,
1120. otherewise, u-boot will use the mac address defined in
1121. MPC8641HPCN.h. This matches the requirement to set unique mac address
  1122. for each TSEC port.
