  8. [PATCH] get_dev() now unconditionally uses manual relocation
  9. Since the relocation fix is not included yet and we're not sure how
  10. it will be added, this patch removes code that required relocation
  11. to be fixed for now.

  23. [PATCH v3] Add sync to ensure flash_write_cmd is fully finished
  24. Some CPUs like PPC, BLACKFIN need sync() to ensure cfi flash write command
  25. is fully finished. The sync() is defined in each CPU's io.h file. For
  26. those CPUs which do not need sync for now, a dummy sync() is defined in
  27. their io.h as well.

  37. [PATCH] Fix relocation problem with "new" get_dev() function
  38. This patch enables the "new" get_dev() function for block devices
  39. introduced by Grant Likely to be used on systems that still suffer
  40. from the relocation problems (manual relocation neede because of
  41. problems with linker script).
  42. Hopefully we can resolve this relocation issue soon for all platform
  43. so we don't need this additional code anymore.

  74. [PATCH] PPC4xx: Add 440SP(e) DDR2 SPD DIMM support
  75. This patch adds support for the DDR2 controller used on the
  76. 440SP and 440SPe. It is tested on the Katmai (440SPe) eval
  77. board and works fine with the following DIMM modules:
  78. - Corsair CM2X512-5400C4 (512MByte per DIMM)
  79. - Kingston ValueRAM KVR667D2N5/512 (512MByte per DIMM)
  80. - Kingston ValueRAM KVR667D2N5K2/2G (1GByte per DIMM)
  81. This patch also adds the nice functionality to dynamically
  82. create the TLB entries for the SDRAM (tlb.c). So we should
  83. never run into such problems with wrong (too short) TLB
  84. initialization again on these platforms.

  98. [PATCH] PPC4xx: Add support for multiple I2C busses
  99. This patch adds support for multiple I2C busses on the PPC4xx
  100. platforms. Define CONFIG_I2C_MULTI_BUS in the board config file
  101. to make use of this feature.
  102. It also merges the 405 and 440 i2c header files into one common
  103. file 4xx_i2c.h.
  104. Also the 4xx i2c reset procedure is reworked since I experienced

  510. [PATCH] nand: Fix problem with oobsize calculation
  511. Here the description from Brian Brelsford <Brian_Brelsford@dell.com>:
  512. The Hynix part returns a 0x1d in the 4th ID byte. The Samsung part
  513. returns a 0x15. In the code fragment below bits [1:0] determine the
  514. page size, it is ANDed via "(extid & 0x3)" then shifted out. The
  515. next field is also ANDed with 0x3. However this is a one bit field
  516. as defined in the Hynix and Samsung parts in the 4th ID byte that
  517. determins the oobsize, not a two bit field. It works on Samsung as
  518. bits[3:2] are 01. However for the Hynix there is a 11 in these two
  519. bits, so the oob size gets messed up.
  520. I checked the correct linux code and the suggested fix from Brian is
  521. also available in the linux nand mtd driver.

  829. mpc83xx: Fix the incorrect dcbz operation
  830. The 834x rev1.x silicon has one CPU5 errata.
  831. The issue is when the data cache locked with
  832. HID0[DLOCK], the dcbz instruction looks like no-op inst.
  833. The right behavior of the data cache is when the data cache
  834. Locked with HID0[DLOCK], the dcbz instruction allocates
  835. new tags in cache.
  836. The 834x rev3.0 and later and 8360 have not this bug inside.
  837. So, when 834x rev3.0/8360 are working with ECC, the dcbz
  838. instruction will corrupt the stack in cache, the processor will
  839. checkstop reset.
  840. However, the 834x rev1.x can work with ECC with these code,
  841. because the sillicon has this cache bug. The dcbz will not
  842. corrupt the stack in cache.
  843. Really, it is the fault code running on fault sillicon.
  844. This patch fix the incorrect dcbz operation. Instead of
  845. CPU FP writing to initialise the ECC.
  846. CHANGELOG:
  847. * Fix the incorrect dcbz operation instead of CPU FP
  848. writing to initialise the ECC memory. Otherwise, it

  969. Overview:
  970. 1. Include new 'i2c' command (based on USB implementation) using
  971. CONFIG_I2C_CMD_TREE.
  972. 2. Allow multiple buses by defining CONFIG_I2C_MULTI_BUS. Note that
  973. the commands to change bus number and speed are only available under the
  974. new 'i2c' command mentioned in the first bullet.
  975. 3. The option CFG_I2C_NOPROBES has been expanded to work in multi-bus
  976. systems. When CONFIG_I2C_MULTI_BUS is used, this option takes the form
  977. of an array of bus-device pairs. Otherwise, it is an array of uchar.
  978. CHANGELOG:
  979. Added new 'i2c' master command for all I2C interaction. This is
  980. conditionally compiled with CONFIG_I2C_CMD_TREE. New commands added for
  981. setting I2C bus speed as well as changing the active bus if the board
  982. has more than one (conditionally compiled with
  983. CONFIG_I2C_MULTI_BUS). Updated NOPROBE logic to handle multiple buses.
  984. Updated README.
  985. regards,
  986. Ben

  1224. ATSTK1000 is a full-featured development board for AT32AP CPUs. It
1225. has two ethernet ports, a high quality QVGA LCD panel, a loudspeaker,
1226. and connectors for USART, PS/2, VGA, USB, MMC/SD cards and

1235. Add common serial driver for Atmel AT32 and AT91 chips
1236. Patch by Haavard Skinnemoen, 06 Sep 2006
1237. This is a first attempt at creating a common serial driver for Atmel
1238. chips. For now, it supports the AT32AP7000 AVR32 chip, but it should
1239. be possible to support AT91RM9200 and other ARM-based chips with some
  1240. minor modifications.
1241. There's nothing fundamentally AVR32-specific in this driver, but it
1242. does use some features which are currently only defined for the
  1243. AT32AP CPU port:
1244. * pm_get_clock_freq: Obtain the clock frequency of a given domain
  1245. * gd->console_uart: A "struct device" containing information about
1246. register mappings, gpio resources and clocks associated with the
  1247. UART device.
1248. For more information about these features, please see the "AT32AP
  1249. CPU" patch.

1690. Add support for reading and writing mac addresses to or from ID EEPROM.
1691. Added code for reading and writing Mac addresses to/from ID EEPROM(0x57).
1692. With attached patch, we can use command "mac/mac read/mac save/"
1693. to read and write EEPROM under u-boot prompt.
1694. U-boot will calculate the checksum of EEPROM while bootup,
1695. if it is right, then u-boot will check whether the mac address
  1696. of eTSEC0/1/2/3 is availalbe (non-zero).
1697. If there is mac address availabe in EEPROM, u-boot will use it,
1698. otherewise, u-boot will use the mac address defined in
1699. MPC8641HPCN.h. This matches the requirement to set unique mac address
  1700. for each TSEC port.
